Set Ups

As I scurry around before I vacuum, I often run into some cute set ups.  I thought I'd share a few here.  The last picture is of Marcella and I at her Ocean Open House.

New Twins

Theresa and Eleanor had their own "Twin Day" this weekend:

Eleanor's First Haircut

We took Eleanor in for her very first haircut.  She was a perfect little angel for this big event.  She sat still and did just what the nice hairdresser told her to do.  I was wondering if people would still want to take her picture now that her long goldens are gone but no worries there; since this day she has had her picture taken at least three times.  We all think she looks adorable with her new do!

International Day Parade

Last week was International week in the schools and the final event was the parade.  Marcellas knew as soon as Eben opened his new cowboy outfit that she was going to wear it for the parade.  All four schools here participate as well as community members.  We did this last year and it was neat to see how the community has grown.  This year we got to march into the field with drums which was a nice touch.

Lady of Lourdes

We celebrated Our Lady of Lourdes after the twins' birthday by making lovely cocoa krispie grottos and using playmobil figures for Mary and St. Bernadette.  The girls loved the roses in the story and were so impressed by the fact that St. Bernadette found the spring.  In Girl Scouts there has been a focus on water conservation so this story tied right in with their learning.

Building Blocks Birthday- a few days later

Finally we reach the end of the twins' 3rd birthday celebrations.  Building Blocks insisted the twins come for one last hurrah.  The teachers had prepared a sweet little party with Maisy and the Roadrunner decorations.  We had our local cupcake bakers, Cupcakes Now, prepare "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" cupcakes and the girls came for a final good-bye to Building Blocks.  We will never forget the love and kindness these teachers poured forth for our little twinners (or angels as the teachers always called them).

Bath Birthday- Later on That Night

And then later that night we celebrated some more with our new bath toys!

Now Eben has a wipie he can chew on in the bath- Eben loves chewing on wipies- especially at dinner where he prefers chewing on a wipie to eating most nights.

Eben received the sweet "Little Cowboy" books for his birthday and has insisted they go to bed with him every night since.  He even got a two-holster belt like the cowboy in the story and uses the guns like wands to "turn!" 

I did not pose these pictures, he really falls asleep reading these little books.
