As I wrote in an earlier post, the twins' party theme was "Hansel and Gretel." Ever since this summer both have been loving a game we call "Bruja" where someone hides (the Bruja) and the others go find that person and get scared. They love the story of Hansel and Gretel and since it has a Bruja, we decided to make the story the theme for the party. The girls helped decorate with candies (colored paper plates wrapped in clear plastic wrap) and Casey and I made each twin a Gingerbread House. We actually ate the houses at two different outside locations here in KAUST, the stadium and a rec center that has not opened yet. On the night of the party we had little Hansel and Gretel Gingerbread cookies for the kids to decorate. In a few of the following pictures we even have Skype guests from Texas!

After breakfast the twins got to open their gifts from their sisters. All the gifts were made from the heart with lots of love!
Marcella made Eben the sweetest little Gingerbread Boy from air-dry clay. It is much like a paper doll in that Eben can dress the Gingerbread Boy and take on and off eyes and buttons.
Marcella also gave Eben a wand- he loves to do "Turn!" magic!
For Eleanor, Marcella made a beautiful Butterfly Mobile to hang over her crib. It is made from coffee filters.
Theresa gave Eben and adorable little man with eyes that can turn into hearts!
For Eleanor, Theresa found a great triangle rock and painted it to be a pizza for the play kitchen!
Then she made them a cool spotting scope for when we play Bruja or pirates.
